How do I use meet mute extension?

Install the extension and go to the Google Meet tab. Click the little speaker button next to the address bar to mute the site. You will see a small Speaker appear on the icon to indicate that the tab is muted. To unmute the tab, simply click the button again.

If you want to go ahead and mute them, click or tap on the “Mute” button. The person's microphone will be turned off (muted), and everyone in the meeting will be notified. Remember, only the person that has been muted can unmute themselves.
