There are two ways to see your alerts from the Notification Center:
- From the Lock screen, swipe up from the middle of the screen.
- From any other screen, swipe down from the center of the top of your screen.

Pick up your iPhone to wake it up, or tap the screen (or press home screen button on the bottom for pre-iPhone X models). 2. From the lock screen, swipe up from the middle to see your notifications. If your iPhone is already unlocked, you can swipe down from the top to see your old notifications.

Why do some notifications disappear on iPhone?
Temporary alerts are designed to stay visible for a few moments and then disappear on their own. The persistent alerts are supposed to be visible until turned off. Start by changing the notification style to persistent in Settings> Notifications> and then choosing any app.
