  1. Open the Settings app (Win+I keyboard shortcut).
  2. Go to the Apps group of settings.
  3. Select the Video playback tab.
  4. Turn the 'Automatically process video to enhance it' switch Off to disable effects.
  5. Close the Movies & TV app and open it again.
