how do i extract images from a word document on a mac

To export an image from Word:

1. Right-click on the image.
2. Choose “Save as Picture…”
3. Choose where you want to save it, and name the file. The default name will be “Picture1. ...
4. Select the type of image file you want to save it as from the “Save as Type” dropdown in the bottom left of the window. ...
5. Click “Save” and you're done!
