If you're a writer or a student that doesn't usually perform heavy photo and video editing, the new 12-inch MB might be sufficient for you. However, if you want to pack a little more power without really caring about color and don't mind a slightly heavier ultrabook, then the 13-inch MBP would be a smarter choice.
